Cultivated rye-fescue blends for family lawns (hard-wearing, fast-establishing, year-round colour); shade-tolerant fescue blends for north-facing or tree-shaded gardens; ornamental fine-leaf turf for show lawns where heavy use isn't expected.
Heavy West Sussex clay soils almost always need rotovation, drainage assessment and topsoil import to a 100mm depth minimum. Sandy coastal soils near Littlehampton benefit from organic-matter addition and more aggressive fertilising.
Where existing lawns puddle in winter, we install French drains, raised soil profiles or specify a sand-amended root zone. Persistent waterlogging is rarely solved by turf alone and we'll be honest about it.
Days 1–14: water heavily morning and evening. Days 15–30: reduce gradually, light first mow at 25mm above the soil. Months 2–6: full mowing routine, monthly feed in growing season, autumn scarification.

Cash or bank transfer. A small booking fee (around £50) holds your spot in the diary. A 50% deposit is due about a week before we start, with the remaining 50% on completion. No large upfront deposit.
